Air New Zealand Air Points - Standby Fares go 'Straight Up'

No April Fools joke here, unless the joke is on us... Add $10 to those standby fares, plus $3 for DUD cuz airport fees went up... :(

If you already have a Flexi Fare booked on the day you wish to travel, you will not be eligible for a Standby fare.

Looks like they spotted people trying for both, using standby if it came through, then cancelling the flexi fare.

$93 is a lot of money for no SP.

I guess that means the scheme's been a big hit-I've always seen queues for the standbys whenever I've exited the Koru lounge to catch a regional.
