InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - Crowne Plaza LAX comments??
Hi, just won this property on priceline, do folks have any ideas on what this property is like? are there any take away food shops nearby? how is parking on the street? any recommendation on what type of room and facing what direction I should request?
Thanks in advance. Got the hotel for only US$31 on priceline!

They just upgraded club level during the winter. There is no street parking , but a garage sort of attached. It makes no difference which way you face as far as room goes. There is not really any "good" food within walking. But you are 2 minutes from the entrance to LAX.
Certainly a bargain at $31.

Just spent a Priceline weekend at rhw CP LAX.
What an awful place.
Checked in Thursday night....I'm Plat...given a room on the Exec, but not club floor. Given a drink coupon and breakfast coupon ( one pr day). Left them on the room desk, and they were gone the next afternoon. Housekeeping must have enjoyed the drinks and breakfasts.
The bedside lamp ( one in the room ) didn't work.
The room was really Holiday Inn Quality, as well as the bathroom. Not worth the $55 priceline rate.
Good thing all I did at the hotel was sleep 6 hrs/day and out.
