Flying Blue (Air France, KLM, and Other Partners) - Qualifying flights on non-ST member with KL code?

If I fly on KL-coded flight operated by MH, will I get qualifying flight? (I think it should be yes).
Additionally, will I get additional baggage allowance for being FB Silver? (I'm guessing here it's no).

Yes, any flight with a KL code is a "level flight" as regards Flying Blue, regardless of who the operator is.

I would have thought that you would also be entitled to your FB Silver extra luggage allowance, but t his is perhaps less clear cut and depends on the leniency of the check-in agent and/or their familiarity with handling FB passengers travelling on KL coded tickets.

I asked a similar question recently. It might help.

That's very interesting. People in that thread are actually saying that I get all FB Silver bonuses.
Then another question.

I have KUL-AKL leg on KL-coded operated by MH, and I'm going to become FB Gold before the flight. I guess I will be entitled to lounge access.

But the more difficult is the way back, the SYD-KUL leg, again KL-coded and MH-operated. Even if I'm entitled to lounge access, how come I can get it if there is no ST lounges in SYD? Or I can't?

In KUL, you will have access to the lounge which is opened to KLM passengers (but not to the MH lounge unless things have changed). However, in SYD (or for that matter in AKL and MEL when using the MH codeshare with KL flight numbers) you will not be allowed into the lounge unless you are flying business class. Lounge access is not automatically extended based on frequent flyer status, only if there is an ad hoc agreement between airlines, which is not the case here.

You will only get lounge access if you're status is processed trough the system, usually a couple days after your flight if they flights have posted.

You then will have to have your FB number re-entered in the system to reflect FBG.

In KUL, it's the Plaza Premium Lounge, not the MH Golden Lounge.

I flew a couple of weeks ago(mid and end of february) a KL flight (purchase through KL website) YYZ-YUL operated by westjet (non-ST member) and so far, i didn't get either miles and segments. I got the right miles and segments for the two other legs of the trips (operated by AF and KLM).
I claimed for the miles with letter and boarding pass to flying blue but didn't get an answer so far...

I made a car rental in ams early february with hertz, gave my FB number which is stated on the invoice and contract of rental....no miles so far!

Good luck to get the miles!
Really boring! What's the FB number where i can give a call (france)?

Thanks for explanation guys,

The only thing left is to make sure I'll get the extra baggage allowance. Would be very unpleasant if I have to pay while already with two bags.
I guess I will ask that question to FB support and go to the trip with the print-out of their answer.

It turns out I will not be able to enter any lounge even if it would be KLM or Air France own lounge. Despite I'm flying on KL ticket and KL-coded flight, since it's operated by non-ST member, the rules say 'no'.
Sad...
