Folks
I am the team leader for the Ambassador Program for FlyerTalk. I'd love to be able to find some passionate folks who are regulars on the Asiana board to volunteer to be forum Ambassadors.
What does an Ambassador do?
Well, as the name would suggest, your principal role is to welcome new members, point folks in the right direction regarding program enquiries and generally be a model FT citizen. Your knowledge of the Asiana FFP program and the airline is obviously a given...
In return, you get to "wear" the Ambassador title under your handle and be recognised as one of FT's most valuable members.
Many of the forums engage with the brand directly (which I will help co-ordinate where there is no Mod). This is to help foster relationships between the airline (ie Asiana) and FT. Forums which do this already very successfully are Hyatt, BA, Starwood, Lufthansa and EK.
If you would like to know more, and think this is something you would be interested in, please send me a PM.
The role of an Ambassador is not to be confused with that of being a Moderator, however we both learn the same secret handshake ;)
Finally, there is an Ambassador Good Practices Document which you will need to read and acknowledge.
Regards
SIMON
