Virgin Australia Velocity - Lounge @ LAX?

Now that Alaska has moved from T3 to T6 at LAX (and taking the Board Room Lounge with them as well), will VA J pax have any lounge to visit prior to departure?

Yes, i did this the other week. VA are using the ReLAX lounge in the TBIT - it's clunky as it involves going to the building next door. Not sure what the long term plans are.

There are various rumours of a joint VX/VA/VS lounge. Alternately there are rumours of a total move to T5 to be closer to Delta. Who knows at this point?

Would be ironic if VA built a lounge in LAX when they currently have no international lounges in any Australian ports though.

I doublt VA will be in that terminal for that long anyway. I heard rumours the whole shebang was moving to T5 due to customs etc.

I don't see VX moving either as no customs/immigration facilities at T3 so they are better off staying at T2.

If T3 refurbed entirely to include C&I then that would be a whole other story and you would probably find it branded a VX club house.

I'll be flying LAX - SYD in J in a few months and I'll report if anything changes.
