I just have a quick question regarding 'any-time' lounge access for gold members;
I arrive in MEL at 0615 or thereabouts (QF 648), and have a connecting flight to AKL (DJ 164) at around 1000. I shall be waiting for a friend during that time to fly with me to AKL, and was wondering if I could use the DJ lounge (with my check-in luggage) and wait for him there ...

You should be fine as a Velocity Rewards Gold.

Best part is for your luggage, the lounge is landside.
