U.K. and Ireland - Heathrow car rental return

I am dropping a car off at Hertz at Heathrow and need to get to my hotel (Marriott). Anyone know the best way to do this?

Ask the driver to drop you at the Renaissance and walk the rest of the way. Worst they will do is drop you at the Nene Road roundabout and tell you they aren't allowed to do it anymore. 50/50 lately for me about getting all the way to the Renaissance parking lot or the roundabout.

Alternatively, you can take the Hertz shuttle all the way to T1/T3 and then take a local bus out closer on Bath road to the bus stop in front of the Marriott. That's longer, but perhaps easier if you have more luggage.

Walk just north of Hertz to the A4, take one of the buses heading east on the A4 (81 for example) and it's less than a 5 minute journey. Drop your bags in the hotel before you drop off the car. You could also walk - around 30min.
