Hi, guys--

I have a bunch of miles on DL, and was wondering what the procedure is for using them on Vietnam Air (if that's even possible). Also, this would be a one-way ticket, and I know that DL doesn't do one-way awards, but I was wondering if it's possible on Vietnam Air. Thanks!

These are not bookable online, you have to call Delta (at the numbers listed here depending on what country you are in https://www.delta.com/skymiles/use_miles/about_award_ticket/index.jsp) and try to get an agent who understands that VN is a Skymiles partner and you are able to redeem miles on them.

One-way awards are possible, but they will cost you the same as a round-trip, so a pretty bad deal really.

I booked VN flights with SkyMiles. Just call in. VN has tons of availability.
