Better than most fares I've seen from SAN lately.
Very limited availability as a true MR, opens up a bit more if you want to spend a day or two in either city.
Redeye to ATL on 23APR return 24APR earns 5274 miles and no hotel costs.

I'm getting really pissed at how DL is ruthlessly attacking *A in NYC and there's no *A retaliation. I need some *A MRs! lol.

Seeing some spotty availability for PHL-SAN at $226 = 4.22cpm. The few that are 1 day turnaround seem to be during the week, alot of 4 day jaunts on the weekend, and the rare weekend availability.

Looks like I could do the 1st weekend in June, 3rd in July, or wait till Sept, Oct, at which point it really opens up... SanDiego nice in October?

San Diego has great weather year round. Not too hot in the summer, not too cold in the winter. Those other dates are good for us except the third weekend in July, we're overseas.

I got in on the SAN PHL red eye via ATL on May 26. Same day turn returning back to SAN at 5pm. Less than 20 hrs turn around.

EF says $208 roundtrip between SFO & EWR in T class.
Too bad the date I want (for my SIN mileage run) doesn't have T space available. :(

I was looking in the October time frame. The fare is available, but seats in the T bucket (which is what I am looking for) weren't.
However, if you find T seats, you should be able make this fare happen. Appears to be good to EOS. Only restriction is must buy 10 days in advance.

What is the significance of booking the T fare? (vs other..)

If you can find T seats, you get the sale fare and there's your potential mileage run.
L space (which is all I was able to find for my dates of travel) is significantly (i.e. 3 X) more expensive.

These fares often don't last many hours, much less days.
