The contrast between QS and the non-AVOD 777s is stark. Having sat through 22 hours in QS-a joy- and 22 hours in an old bird between LHR and SYD, I think my days on OZ are numbered until QS rules. I travel about 5 times yearly to ICN, as well as odd trips to SYD; I've long trumpeted OZ as "a better way to fly"-cf LH slogan. However, even with the prospect of FRA, I think I'm for LH in future on the ICN trips, if only for a part-way decent entertainment system.
Yesterday's torture had unwatchable films with inaudible soundtracks; for a long day time flight I think travellers need and expect better.
It seems that the old birds won't or can't be converted to QS for electronic reasons- (I'm sure they CAN, but this seems to be too costly)
So, the 5 stars isn't doing it for me any longer
