Air France Frequence Plus - Connecting Time 2E to 2E

I have a colleague who is off to Santiago (SCL) on AF (MAN->CDG-SCL). As far as I can tell, he will both arrive in and depart from 2E. His connection time is one hour and five minutes, which looks a little tight to me. Since it is AF all the way, I understand he will be arriving in 2E Gates 21-47. Is his connection time reasonable?
Since 21-47 seems to be flights within Europe, I'm assuming he will have to bus (or run) over to the other set of gates?

From my knowledge, SCL is leaving from S3... Plenty of time to reach the gate. Even a quick coffee in the AF lounge..

Thanks. By S3, you mean the new Satellite 3 (a shortish walk if I remember the signs on my recent trip through 2E)?

Indeed.
From 2F you can walk to S3, but not from 2E. From 2E one needs to take the rail shuttle to S3 (gates 51 to 76), it's really straightforward and simple.

1hour and 5 is way plenty of time to get from one side of 2E to the other, i can do it and still have 30mins in the AF Lounge :)

I'm doing a similar connection - well similar in the sense I'm 2E to 2E and i have a short connection time
My flights are:
Edi-CDG (AF5147) 6.10 arriving at 9.20 am
CDG-IAD (AF028) departing at 10.35am
Is this feasible? Also does anyone know where I will likely arrive/depart.. main terminal vs S3..?
What happens with immigration and security?

Quite feasible; there is no immigration check involved, as it is a non-Schengen to non-Schengen connection.

Very easy connection. EDI flight will arrive at the main pier of 2E. For the IAD flight, it's not possible to know in advance if it will depart from the main pier or from S3. Whatever the situation, it will be a very rapid and easy connection.

Another question about Terminal 2E. Upon arrival and after claiming luggage, I need to go up to the departure level. Aside from the lifts, is there also an escalator that one could take instead?
