I assumed this was the normal F service since it's a 5+ hour flight on the 77W. Wish i'd known, I would have worn more comfortable clothes on the plane. Also...the new Tumi kits...quality products inside but not nearly as cool as the old Rimowa ones.

Same same as on the BKK-NRT flights : no caviar and no pyjamas. I agree with you, it is a disgrace. As for the Tumi kit , I have not yet seen it, but judging from the pictures I saw on this website, it looks awfully cheap .

I did a video of TG660 Bangkok to Haneda in first class for those interested:

The kit isn't so bad, I think the contents are > the Rimowa contents and it's actually more practical to re-use as a kit for toiletries. However, the Rimowa kits looked way cooler.

Do they serve Dom on the NRT - BKK flight?

When I flew this route last year and enquired about my caviar serving, I was informed by the FM that it's not served on Asian routes - only in F on flights to/from Europe and Australia.....

That is too bad to hear as I was expecting to receive PJs.

I've got the HND-NRT flight next week. It departs at 12:20am.

Does anyone know if they serve a meal shortly after departure, or do they serve it prior to arrival?

On the NRT flight they have a light meal at take off and full breakfast before arrival. Assume HND is the same

My heart goes out to you all for the loss of caviar and sleep suits on a less than transcontinental distance.

You should be thankful if your flight wouldn't swap to a 2 class plane, HND-NRT often swap 77W to 2 class 773. You would loss F seat, not to mention it becomes a non-flat recliner style C seat.

if it was swapped it would be the angled lie flats as per the entire tg 777 fleet. there is no 'recliner' style c seat on 777 on TG.
