Air France Frequence Plus - A340 question

I've never flown Air France before and I'm making Business class reservations. I can either take an A340-300 or A380. The timing would be better for me taking the A340. Is the 340 comparable to US's 333-300? It's hard to tell using seatguru.

Since I'll be using AF from YUL-CDG (and then on to GVA), I should have just asked is the A380 significantly superior to the A340-300 since it appears I have a choice. Sorry for the confusion.

The A380 is a great plane which has the most recent airplane advancements, so in some ways it is better than the A340. It worth at least to try it once. But this being said, I love the A340 also.
For the J seat, all A380 seats are NEV3 versions, while most A340 a NEV2 (I think), so the seat is slightly better on board the A380. IFE is also better in the A380. For me, if I had to choose, I'll take the A380 :)

Thanks Goldorak. I made reservations flying over on the 340 and back on the 380. So, I can try them both out.
