This little clip I found in an old tape from July 1999 of my visit to Las Vegas airport and United flight 1111 to Chicago O'Hare on 767-300. Funny thing is that YouTube found the footage of TV monitors as copyright infringement and told me that they may delete my video.

So here it is.

Very cool video with a relatively quiet Las Vegas Airport, old Yellow livery of Southwest aircraft, an empty United flight and FA announcement of "dinner will be served". All example of things long gone !!!

I really enjoyed that. I forgot that UA 767-300s used to not have PTVs in Y. Also, wow was the area around LAS far less built up back then.

I had forgotten how much flying was fun back then. 9/11 and oil prices changed all fun out of air travel.

Yes very true!!!
