my wife and i are on the following itinerary with air new zealand and air tahiti nui

i have paid a total of £179 to upgrade one leg of our journey to skycouch ( LHR-LAX ) but the price of the other leg was £369 and now £269.
i will only upgrade (LAX-LHR) if it drops to around £179 . if not i will enquire at check in .

It depends on how tall are both of you? It's great when traveling with children, I'm 1.83m, not sure what's that in ft n in, I never find it comfortable..

If you do a bit of google image of the skycouch, and notice that the models always have their knees and/or necks bent on an uncomfortable angle, and that the seats in front are never reclined. And imagine stuck in that angle for 10+ hours... there's no way I'd fork out any money for this...

I asked a question recently about the difference between Premium economy on 747 and on the new 777, no answer. I ended up reading the reviews on http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/air_nz_2.htm Although this review site limits the length of responses, you do get the general feeling of what people thought about sky couches (and premium economy). Have a look.
