How far has anyone gotten with this program, and how quickly do you receive rewards?

I have completed the first 3 stays and received the dozen monogrammed golf balls about 3 weeks after my stays. That might be a bit slower since I live in Canada and the golf balls came from the US. I hope to have stay 4 in a couple of weeks. gwn

Still waiting for my golf balls -- did they charge you GST on them GWN as they did to me last year? -- but only completed the 2nd stay two weeks ago. Completed two others since, but I don't expect the golf club until later in January.

Got my golf balls after 2 stays (someone above said 3?) and just qualified for my putter this weekend. I'll let you know when it arrives.

Edited to add:
Looked it up - my seciond stay was completed November 13 and got golf balls on December 12.

I currenly have 12 stays and received the balls about a week ago. Any chance of anyone making the top award ( 35 stays)?

I have completed my 4th stay just recently. I still haven't received the golf balls from 3 stays in November.

I'll probably stop after getting the set of wedges. IMHO, the additional 8 stays needed to get the set of clubs isn't worth it when those 8 stays would earn me 4 Faster Free Nights with Hyatt. Plus, I already got the clubs from the last golf promo. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I have received the Putter and the golf balls. I have around 15 stays, I think 35 is very difficult. I do expect to get to the 20 stay level.

Onedog, how were the clubs you received last year?

Has anyone seen a list of "participating" hotels? Do most of the CP's participate in this promo? Thanks!

Every Hotel I have looked into offers this.

I did not have a chance to open the package that I received and assumed to be the putter. It actually was the driver. I have not receive the putter yet. Doing a litte research shows that the value of the items in this promotion are more valuable than you would think.

Brand new set of Top FliteXL2000. Beautiful. I showed them off to everyone I could..."HEY, WANNA SEE MY NEW SET OF FREE CLUBS!!!". Alas, they are still in the box as I haven't had the chance to use them. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

I heard thru someone else that the clubs are worth about $600. If thats the case the 20 stays ( plus the balls, putter, driver, and wedges) should be worth $1,000?

I'm a leftie. When I signed up for the promo they asked what hand I use. I'm awaiting the putter right now, I'll let you know when I get it.

And don'f forget, the balls are monogrammed this year with our name, not just CPs logo!

Rest easy. I just received the left handed putter. You won't have to contort yourself to use a right handed putter.

Received the putter and driver today. Both are very nice. Waiting now for wedges, and need one more stay for the set of clubs.

Hi Shareholder. Sorry for the tardy reply but I was enjoying the warm weather in Calgary. I didn't have to pay any GST.

I was very happy to see my name on the balls as my wife was ready to grab them to use as a last minute Xmas present for our daughter's boyfriend, who came unexpectedly for Christmas. GWN

Left handed putter arrived today. Completed fourth stay December 18 in Atlanta.

Now on to the driver!

This year, no problem having to pay Customs/GST fees on the golf balls. Qualifying stay occured in early December, so it took about a month-and-a-half to process. They did spell the name correctly! Now for that putter... one more stay to go!
