Travel with Pets - pet-friendly hotel near ALB?

Looking for pet-friendly hotel with airport shuttle close to ALB. Friend and cat are moving to her new job. Will arrive just before midnight, then have a 1-1/2 hour taxi ride to Rhinebeck.

I suggested that a moderately good night's rest following their 7-hour flight, then riding to their new home in daylight, would benefit both of them. Budget is tight so hoping for reasonable price, but not so grubby as to give safety concerns.

There's a La Quinta near the airport, with an airport shuttle. They are usually decent, fairly low cost, and pet-friendly.

Thanks, kipper. We tried them first (I'm LQR Elite). Unfortunately, they contract out their shuttle service: one guy with a van whose hours end at 1900. Her flight (if on time) will arrive at 2330. So we chose the Red Roof Inn, whose desk person was helpful and patient despite a terrible connection. It has some scary reviews, but it looks like they may have redecorated last fall.
