US Airways Dividend Miles - United flights post UA/CO 3/3 integration, two US Airways-related questions

I last flew UA a day before their 3/3 computer integration with CO. I'm currently looking at booking a trip in April where part of the trip is on actual UA metal, and part would be booked as a UA flight but in reality would be a codeshare flown on US metal. Two things:

1. Has anyone had experience post 3/3 with flying UA metal and crediting the miles to your Dividend Miles account? It sounds like Mileage Plus members are still having lots of issues so I didn't know if it is even worse trying to credit flights to a partner airline.

2. Do the upgrades for the legs on US metal still work the same way as they did previously? Meaning, when I book a mixed-metal itinerary, will I still get a UA confirmation number for my UA flights, but also a US confirmation number as well, meaning that upgrades on the US flights will be processed business as usual, as was the case pre-3/3?

Any insight is appreciated!

I flew UA/CO on 3/3 and it was a -scene-.

Yes, I flew on 3/1 and then a few days later on UA. Miles posted to account in about 2 days.

My flight was a US flight number but flown on UA metal. There was both a US PNR and a UA PNR. I can't help you on the upgrade issue...

Actually, I now remember, you are right. My bad. Had way too many flights that week. Flew back CLT-DCA on 3/1 and then flew out of IAD on 3/3.

Eeks.

It's ok. I hope you did not take that the wrong way! Its hard to remember those details. I only remember it as I witnessed the final CO operated flight landing which was given a water cannon salute. (first water Ammon salute)
