Practical Travel Safety Issues - NEXUS application and change of address

Long story short, I currently live in Florida and want to get NEXUS since I'm moving to Washington in a few months. From the other thread on NEXUS interviews, it sounds like ones in Seattle are a few months out so I wanted to send in my application soon. Is the fact that I'm moving and getting a new address a reason to wait on sending in the application?
