Just got this email as well. FWIW, I got the card in January, immediately did first spend then put it aside. Last week I started using it again for small purchases. So...yeah.

I did the Dec-Jan-Feb. This is just a guess . . . but you may get targeted if you're not spending much on the card. I did minimal spend upon approval, then retired the card, then received targeted offer.

"Offer is valid for select cardmembers and is not transferable. You will earn 15,000 bonus after you charge over $1,250 in net retail purchases (purchases that are not returned or rescinded) each month from April 1, 2012 through June 30, 2012. If you do not spend over $1,250 in any of the 3 months of the promotion, you will not be eligible for any bonus as part of this offer. To receive your bonus , your account must be open and in good standing. Purchases made during periods when your account is delinquent, your balance exceeds your credit line or your account is otherwise not in good standing as defined in your Credit Card Cardmember Agreement do not qualify for this offer. Your bonus will appear on your statement up to 6-8 weeks after the end of the promotion. Net retail purchases do not include such things as the purchase of money orders, traveler's checks, foreign currency, lottery tickets, gambling chips, wire transfers, person-to-person money transfers or using the account to obtain a cash advance."
Does this mean I cannot use amazon payments to pay me rent with the card?

I got this one. Can't sign up using the url provided on the card, which is:
Called the # on the card, hit India, asked to speak to US based agent, waited on hold for 15 minutes. Got a person, got registered, done.
Since I cant see the offer, can you tell me what I should ask the agent for?

I received the same offer you did, if it is good only at gas, grocery, and home improvement stores. It makes absolutely no sense to me that ignoring one targeted offer will somehow get you a completely separate targeted offer. The offers are targeted at different segments of their card member population. I will take what I get and get the 5x bonus on $500 (maximum) spend.

I am in the middle of doing it. Is it calendar month or statement month? I though that it was calendar month. Just want to make sure.
Also, if a charge is on, say, April 30, but is posted on May 1. Will the charge be consider the spending in April or May?

Calendar month, not statement cycle. Just remember that if you do a spend on the last day of the month, it probably won't post until the next day.

I also did April/May/June, and noticed that my online credit card account shows 15,000 points under "My Rewards". The points haven't yet posted on USAirways, but I assume they will post around the next statement close.

I don't see why Barclays would have a problem with it. I completed mine by using WilliamPaid for my rent; same charge all three months. Didn't have any trouble getting the points.

I did this offer several months ago - they're *very* slow to post the miles. Looking back at my account it was a full 3 months after I completed the spend requirements that I received the bonus. You'll get it, but don't expect it to show up any time soon.

Welly welly well.
Both Mrs. Redtop and I got this last year - and after I closed and then reopened my card 3 weeks later - and spent a whopping dollar to get my signup bonus...
I guess Barclays and Amazon Payments will have a $750-a-month reunion.
