Amtrak Guest Rewards - AGR TQP questions

Are there currently any promotions to earn TQP faster than just riding BIS miles on Amtrak?

Also, a related question, are the bonuses for Select and Select plus applied to TQP or just redeemable points?

I haven't seen any TQP promotions since they announced the new verbiage.
