We could see an official announcement sometime in mid April for a late April/early May release. In the meantime, Adobe has released a free public beta of Photoshop CS6. The Mac version is 64 bit only, but it looks like the Windows side will still allow it to run in 32 bit mode.

Here's a link to the public beta: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/photoshopcs6/

Now released (http://www.adobe.com/aboutadobe/pressroom/pressreleases/201204/042312AdobePhotoshopCS6.html) and on pre-order at B&H (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/850333-REG/Adobe_65158494_Photoshop_CS6_for_Windows.html), with an estiamted availability date of May 7 on the Adobe site.

Interestingly, while the CS6 perpetual license purchase price is $699, the subscription fee is $20/month for an annual contract or $30/month on a month-to-month basis. That could be quite attractive if you don't qualify for upgrade pricing ($200 for CS3 and later owners), only need it periodically, and don't have access to an educational discount license ($200 or $250 depending on whether you believe the price on Adobe's Product List page or the price when you get after clicking "Pre-order")
