A colleague of mine, Yale Braunstein, likes to spend time in the Internet Archive and he's also a regular visit to many parts of Germany including Bavaria.
He came across a wonderful travelogue produced by Educational Films called Peasants' Paradise. It's a short (10-minute) travelogue and it covers the Black Forest and Bavaria including rare footage from a ride in the Graf Zeppelin over the countryside.
The film and his comments are online here (http://www.frequentbusinesstraveler.com/2012/03/peasants-paradise-a-video-tour-of-the-black-forest-and-bavaria/) for those who are interested.
