Hi everyone.
I have made a booking on the QR website from LHR to MEL and return. Im an Asiana club Diamond member and on my F.F account it includes my middle name (John) So that i can get my miles i have to include my middle name on any booking that i make through Asiana or a partner airline (Qatar) in order for it too link to my booking. When booking on the QR website i included my middle name in the booking and my Asiana club membership number. On completing the booking i was asked for advance passenger information and one of the questions was what is you middle name? Without thinking anymore about this i entered my middle name and submited it. Later i checked my booking online and although my details on my E ticket are correct on the advance passenger information and on the seat selection my middle name now appears twice (JOHN JOHN) I contacted QR in the UK and explained what had happened on a couple of occasions and they said they would change it and it would not cause me any problems. Despite them saying they would change it and not to worry about it my middle name still appears twice in the advance passenger info and my seat selection. I have since contacted QR in the UK again and they said as long as my details are correct on my ticket which they are, then i would have no problems and my name appearing twice on managing my booking advance pax info and seat selection must be some kind of computer glitch. I have had a problems at the airport before after being given wrong information by an airline agent over the phone so does anyone think it would be best to get something in writing from QR saying its ok?
Also could the middle name appearing twice on manage my booking cause problems linking with my Asaina F.F. account?
I maybe worrying for no reason but any advice from anyone would be great!

Hi Downunder,

Please kindly advise your booking reference number and/or ticket number in my " Private message" so that I can check with the relevant department again. But like UK office said, as long as your name correctly spelled, then there will not be problem.
