Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - Transfer TG int to PG int - can you stay in transit?

Hi,

I booked to tickets for my friend. 1 ticket is on TG for KTM-BKK, the other ticket is on PG BKK-PNH.

She has a Mexican passport, so no visa exemption or visa on arrival. Will she be able to stay in transit and get her new boarding pass at the PG transfer checkin? If so, where is it located? East or west?

Connection time is 2:35h. Will she able to make it? When does the PG transfer desk close for her to collect her boarding pass?

She is pretty worried, so I would give her as much information beforehand as possible. I have never been on PG, so I know relatively little about their BKK station.

She has plenty of time. PG transfer desk is on the 3rd floor in the 'East area' so she should head through transfer security at that A/B/C/D concourse junction.

if its in one booking reference file (PNR) then she should be able to check through and get the boarding pass for the PG flight already upon check in at KTM ...at least its worth trying...ask for it!
Nevertheless, no worries, as she MUST stay in transit and has plenty of time to go o the PG transfer counter to get her boarding pass.
Luggage should be checked through from origin in KTM anyway.....

She will be able to use PG Lounge in BKK, that is available on complimentary basis to all PG passengers (Internet access, soft drinks, small snacks). Normally, the lounge is quite empty as not too many folks are aware of this perk...
