I usually call the Specialty Reservation line before my rental to put in a request for a specific car. When the automatic greeting responds it says that I can put in the extension of the person I want to speak with, or just wait for the next agent.
Does anyone have a good Specialty Reservation agent that they like? I have had some great ones and some terrible ones, but have always forgotten to get their information.
For example, my last trip to ORD when I called the representative was able to look at the entire inventory of what was on the lot. This helped a lot so that I wasn't requesting a car that they don't even have.
Just a few minutes ago I called for my trip to IAH. The agent was very confused about why I was calling. I asked if she could pull up the inventory and said that all she could do was take my information and vehicle request and let the station know when she calls them.
So, if you have a good rep and wouldn't mind sharing their extension could you please PM it to me?
