I was seeing F on one flight daily after May 1. It was a 346 IIRC. ZKOKA Mar 21, 12, 5:35 am TG413/414 is operated with A346, but TG seem to have pulled all F availability. eponymous_coward Mar 21, 12, 8:22 am TG413/414 is operated with A346, but TG seem to have pulled all F availability. TG does that a lot on short haul. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/thai-airways-royal-orchid-plus/1178650-dps-bkk-changed-744-all-series.html tomy77 Mar 21, 12, 5:32 pm TG413/414 is operated with A346, but TG seem to have pulled all F availability. Confirmed. They downgraded my F about a month ago i think. Madone59 Mar 22, 12, 3:49 pm What can one expect from TG on short haul C like BKK-SIN? Guy Betsy Mar 22, 12, 7:26 pm What can one expect from TG on short haul C like BKK-SIN? Basic TG biz class service. But still better than american carriers.. Meal. Dessert on trolley. The usual. Nothing to rave about. I prefer SQ or even CX on this short route. GetSetJetSet Mar 23, 12, 7:26 am Basic TG biz class service. But still better than american carriers.. Meal. Dessert on trolley. The usual. Nothing to rave about. I prefer SQ or even CX on this short route. Better than american carriers is selling them way short. BKK-SIN is a pretty short flight, pretty decent service. Better if you get the new J seats and not the old recliner style A333 ones. Madone59 Mar 23, 12, 8:49 am Thank you, I have never flow TG and am looking forward to it. I think it was be new J seats as it is a 777. eponymous_coward Mar 23, 12, 8:51 am Basic TG biz class service. But still better than american carriers... Considerably more expensive, too, since C class space is not a complimentary elite upgrade on TG/SQ flying SIN-BKK as opposed to UA flying SFO-DEN (a comparable route). TANSTAAFL. Though I suppose if one has the money to pay a multiple of a coach fare, one is worried about comfort, not price... The arguable oversupply of C space on shorthaul intra-Asian routes does make for lots of award space, though. (35k UA miles for HKG-SIN-DPS-BKK-HKT-HKG is a screaming mileage bargain.) I cashed in 35k for a BKK-CGK-SIN-HKG-BKK-USM award and i'm eyeing up a BKK-KUL-SIN-DPS-BKK swing to jam in the middle of a JFK-ICN-BKK-SYD-BKK-NRT-ORD-LGA itinerary later in the year. flyin´ruddl Mar 23, 12, 2:44 pm Basic TG biz class service. Nothing to rave about. And worst of all, whenever I flew this route, the crew seems to feel unreasonably rushed, first drink out less than 15 mins after take-off, whole thing ended after 35 mins. Really, every time. However, on the way back they seemed a little bit more relaxed. F.R. Random Flyer Mar 23, 12, 4:43 pm Thank you, I have never flow TG and am looking forward to it. I think it was be new J seats as it is a 777. If you do get the 773, I recommend the first row (bulkhead). It has signficant extra pitch. dsquared37 Mar 25, 12, 4:15 pm And worst of all, whenever I flew this route, the crew seems to feel unreasonably rushed, first drink out less than 15 mins after take-off, whole thing ended after 35 mins.
