Swiss International Airlines - Will Swiss interline my luggage when on separate bookings?

Hi all,
Quick question, if I'm traveling with LX on two separate ticket, arriving into ZRH from LHR and then onwards on a separate ticket, will I have any issues with them interlining my luggage at LHR to my final destination?
Both on LX (and LX tickets)? No problem at all.

Both flights on LX yes, but it will probably be one revenue ticket and one redemption (booked through BD).

Sorry to hijack, but will LX interline with AC? I'm arriving in YUL from ZRH and then continuing on AC to YVR.

Passengers often buy separate tickets to receive a cheaper fare from another market than CH for long haul flights. Example, passengers buy:
1 ticket VIE-ZRH-JNB-ZRH-VIE (rt.)
1 ticket ZRH-VIE-ZRH
Following has to be observed
(we still use the above example to/from JNB but applies for any similar trip)
Baggage: Passenger is not allowed to check-in the bag(s) in ZRH to JNB and then fly to/from VIE
Reason: in case of any delay to/from VIE, passenger could miss the flight ZRHJNB and his/her bags must be offloaded which could cause a delay of the long haul flight.
Solution: if the minimum connecting time in VIE (e.g. KECD/VIE) is granted, passenger may through check his baggage via VIE back to ZRH and then to JNB. If the minimum connecting time in VIE is too short, through check-in of the baggage is not allowed passenger must store the bags in ZRH at the baggage storage. Also then, enough time in ZRH is necessary.
Irregularity: in case of any misconnection with separate tickets, LX is not obliged to reroute the passenger like other passenger holding 1 ticket for the entire trip.
Reason: passenger is holding 2 separate contracts. This might have been a cheaper solution but doesn’t cover the passenger in case of delays/cancellations etc.

So as long as you meet the MCT for the airport you want to interline at they will do it?
Further, it could be argued that the policy only applies to nested ticketing as described (ZRH-VIE-ZRH-JNB vv) rather than to end on end ticketing as in the OP (LHR-ZRH-JNB vv).

Ridiculous!! And this is probably more expensive for Swiss than sending the bag directly to JNB... offloading it at ZRH should be fairly simple they do it all the time and this usually doesn't cause a delay
Also why on earth did they choose Vienna as example?? Swiss' turnaround time in Vienna is nearly one hour and the MCT is 30 min...
