I'm flying IAD-TLV-IST-IAD in J class in a few months, and from the e-ticket it looks like in both cases for the longhauls the aircraft is an Airbus 330 - the seats are a 2-2-2 configuration.

I've never flown TK internationally (I've recently defected from United), and I was wondering what types of seats to expect. Will they lie flat? Are they "pods," a la Continental, Canada Air or British Airways?

SeatGuru shows them as the "old" J class seats, with only 159' pitch and no power (never mind a pod). But elsewhere in this forum I've read that SeatGuru can be a bit outdated when it comes to foreign airlines. Can anyone tell me what these J class seats will be like on this aircraft? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are lie-flat...

Sorry - I'm a bit in the dark when it comes to aircraft designations. So the 333 is the same as the 300 (Airbus)?

If so, I guess the seats will be flat...yay!

TK's A330-300 (333) and B777-300ER (773) have the fully flat Contour seats.
The A340 and A330-200 (332) have the angled flat seats by Sogerma.
