KLM Flying Dutchman - Need advise C class 772
Hello KLM flyers,
I have a confirmed flight AMS-JFK on a 777-200 in C class. Right now all the seats are empty, so I grab seat 1J/1G. I like to put my legs almost horizontal, something I can do at a normal row on a 747.
I was wondering if the leg space is less on row 1 b/c of the wall in front, so I am thinking to switch to 4J/4G. Witch seat has the most leg room?
Anyone advise for the best seat? :D
Thanks in advance, Dennis.^

Wont there be a lot of traffic and noise up front (toilets & galley)? For that reason I have chosen 4D but there are still empty seats in row 1 so I might change if they really are the best seats.

I would change back to the front row, for the easier in and out they allow (nobody crawling over you when fully reclined) but maybe not the middle section (D-F). The staff tends to gather in the rear galley, so it's just the toilets. Also, front row gives you first choice of huisjes, which is important to me, I just need 4 more :D

Should one be lucky enough to be on a KLM flight where the Chief Purser comes along and introduces him/her self, they normally ask if there is anything they can do for you. That's the moment to hand him/her a list of the four houses you still need. It's worked for me in the past...if it's not responed to before the meal service, then follow it up, you'll most likely be directed to the crew member your list was handed to....and you just never know...you may end up being slipped all four!! KLM crew can be very generious when they're dealing with a serious collector. Good luck.

Just go to the galley at a quiet time and ask the FA on duty if you may have first pick. They will usually get the whole collection out and let you rummage through it. With a bit of luck, you will then be offered a second one when the tray comes round.

That is exactly what happened on my last flight ;-), exchanged a double, got a new one and got a second new one when they came round. Silly..
