Hi,

I'm flying from AMS to TPE on the 22nd of March. I usually fly the Frankfurt route but I wanted to try the new C class, but I just found out that the plane they are using is the 744 they usually use for LA routes with first class. But they dont sell first on the AMS routes, so will they stay empty or will they just bump people into first class seats but business class service.

I was intending to upgrade on both ways as with the 36 months rule miles expire so quickly.

So how are my chances of getting of F class seat? What are the priorities? Can I just ask CI to put me into row 1-5?

I want to get a first seat as I have never tried the New F before.

Thanks

Some airlines (NH, JL, for example) will use the F seats but only allow top-tier pax to book them. Some other airlines (SQ, for example) leave them empty. No idea what CI does. You could try to locate a seat map for your flight and/or call CI to see if the seats can be assigned or not.

Those First Class seats will be sold as Business with Business services except the seat is in First. Though, are you sure they are 74C?
