Hi All
Did anyone applied a Visa to Indian who is British Born Pakistani Origin recently?
I heard the visa is given for 3 months and one can only stay up to one month as the clearance will be given for 1 month only.
How long is it taking to get visa?
I am an indian citizen and wants to apply the visa for my british born pakistani origin wife..
Thanks

Congrats on getting married... did she get an Indian visa before? I assume that would help as far as reapplying. I don't know about the validity issue - do they not issue the 10 year multiple entry visas for tourists anymore? Those did not have 1 month stay restrictions.

My fiancee is a British Citizen. She was born in UK. We are planning to get married in India and I am an Indian Citizen residing in US.
...
2. And also her parents are British Citizens but they were born in Pakistan. Does this will be a problem for her to get the visa on time?
IIRC the visa application asks whether the applicant is/was or has parents/grandparents who were born in Pakistan.
