Hi All,
I just took my first flight with VA, a bit of an improvement of UAL (yes, that's an understatement). I live near Dulles so I've been loyal to UAL for years and have been Premier or Premier Exec for the better part of the last 10 years (about 450k lifetime miles).
Two quick questions:
1. I completed my trip on Thursday but I still have a 0 mile balance in my elevate account, how long does it normally take trips to post?
2. Does anyone know if VA has any plans to offer any kind of status program? The one thing keeping me with United right now after losing the ability to reserve EP seats in advance is that my Premier status gets into the premium security lines at crowded airports. I'd probably fly VA a lot more if they could offer a similar program (the ability to jump into empty MCS seats would be nice as well).
At this point I'm thinking I'm going to fly VA for my coast-to-coast trips as often as possible, and if I fail to make Premier this year with United I'll just get their credit card to get advanced boarding and a free bag when I do fly them.
Thanks in advance!
