BizJet,

I stayed there for one night last April. I loved it!

Check-in was great, and I even got an upgrade to the "Executive Club" level, without doing anything else but showing my Priority Club card. I guess they wanted to get the rooms up there filled on a slow day (I checked in on the Saturday after Easter).

The Executive Club level has its own elevator key card access. The lounge area there serves breakfast every morning, and the items are fresh and plentiful. The cooked items are hot, and never sit around long after they are cooked. A wide assortment of juices accompanies the spread of fruit, eggs, breads, and meats.

From that lounge, you can also see the jets taking off and landing at LGA. I could imagine what the view was like on 9/11, because you can see most of the NYC skyline from there. A big screen TV is also in the lounge, so you can get caught up on whatever is happening that day. (Edited to clarify this statement.)

If you are fortunate enough, you may even get a room with a view of the flights taking off and landing.

The Executive Level rooms have nice fluffy robes in the closet, and more than adequate space in all areas of the rooms.

Two complimentary bottles of water are available in the room. There is a complimentary shuttle to LGA.

The staff were extremely friendly, IMO. I needed directions to get there from Midtown Manhattan, as my company's local staff had to take me out there, and the directions were right on the money!

Enterprise has a rental car stand and representatives in the front parking lot/entrance area if you need to have a rental car during your stay.

The price on the door of the room listed $500.00/night, although I didn't even come close to that rate, probably because of the time of the year I stayed there.

Overall, I think the hotel is one of the better CP's on the East Coast.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

I just recently stayed at the CP LGA-it's my 3rd visit to this property. This time, I got upgraded to the Executive Level where snacks are served until 9:30p and breakfast is served in the morning. The queen size bed I had was really comfortable (with the new, orthopedic mattresses as part of the recent makeover at all CPs) and free, wireless Internet access is a plus.

I'd definitely stay here again (and will) on my next visit that requires me to stay in Queens.

Have stayed twice. Ditto comments above! I believe some of the corner rooms on the Exec Level are newer than others.

Enjoy!

Hs anyone stayed here recently?

Going to a wedding this upcoming weekend with the family (2 adults and 2 children ages 6&7)… any suggestions on which rooms to request?

Thank you in advance.

Not only a great hotel but great long term parking for LGA which can sometimes be nightmare to find.

Don't remember if I got PC points for parking.

Any recent experiences? Thanks.

Stayed there this past April...

Thought the hotel was extremely well worn: The furnishings were dated. The TV's ancient. Wouldn't spend a lot of money if staying there...

They did have a "lounge" which essentially was the area right outside the elevator.

That being said, they were very friendly.

Any new thoughts on this hotel? I've seen varying comments on this CP by just doing the standard online search.

I'm there very soon and wanted to get anyone's take on it. Also, is there anything around the hotel...ie...restaurants/bars that are affordable and safe to walk to?

Anyone know the situation on internet access there as well?

Thanks!

Still a great place to stay and a great place to leave your car for a flight out of LGA, which is across the street.

The 2 room suite, while not huge, is set up perfectly for entertaining.

Good staff, easy to find, frequent upgrades.
