I have a desire [not need] to travel WAS-BKK 22 March - 01 April 2012. I am thinking about bidding on Priceline but wanted to make sure I understand the rules.

On the page where you actually select airports and submit a bid in the box to the right it states:

You may fly off-peak

You may be required to travel during off-peak hours for this trip. Your trip may start anytime, midnight to midnight, on your travel dates.* bolding mine.

However, on the same page in step 3 it states:

You may be required to travel during off-peak hours for this trip. Your trip may start anytime, from 5am on your travel dates to as late as 2am the next day, and may arrive anytime on the day after departure. Although we always look for non-stop flights first, Priceline flights may make up to one connection each way. Your exact flights and times will be shown to you once your purchase is complete. We will issue convenient electronic tickets.* bolding mine.

My questions are:

Which is the correct statement with regards to time? [I ask because it will affect the dates that I choose when bidding.]
Is it correct that you may arrive "anytime on the day after departure"? Just to be clear, I am asking because ITA shows an itinerary that is over 48 hours in length. I am presuming that "anytime on the day after departure" means that the itinerary booked will not be any longer than 48 hours [that is, I will arrive in country no later than 48 hours after departure time assuming all flights operate as scheduled and I have no problems boarding the scheduled flights.]

I do not know how great of a deal you are going to find on Priceline, but thats sure alot of miles you are passing up by bidding...

I know, but sometimes having the money is more important than having miles. (Skymiles!!!)

Anyway, the bid I made was not accepted and I have booked an award ticket instead.
