One aircraft has been infected last year indeed (probably after a trip to JFK as NYC had a bed bug strike at that time), but has been grounded more than a week for full disinsectization.
No problem has been detected since.

I had the same issue when flying back from PTY on KLM.
Well, it was not a pleasant experience.
Still, I did not ask to go to the hospital, I did not complain and did make an article in a weekly newspaper about it :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Some people react more violently than other to some bugs. I personally am OK, but my wife reacts pretty badly to certain insects, including mosquitos.
There are definitely cases that warrant a visit to the hospital.
