I haven't googled it yet but despite that what do you recommend as a decent under water camera when snorkeling?

Thanks!

Disclosure: I own a 60D

The best is a housing for your real camera. But that's also going to be crazy cash.

I've been very happy with the Canon-branded housings for their PowerShot line (most recently I was using the S80 or S85, I think, with the associated housing) and it was nice. The housing will run you ~$100-150, I think, on top of the camera price.

For just snorkeling you can also get one of the bags that you can put any camera in. Not the best solution in the world, but cheap so that's always nice.

i'll trade the 60D for a nikinos 4 or 5 that i have. have strobe and a couple of lenses.

the standard lens to use is a very wide angle. usually in the 15mm range.

Here's a nice Kokak video camera for $30:)

And I have no complaints about the performance of my nifty SVP AQUA WP5300 (I paid $25)

I own a Kodak Sport and it's great for snorkling. It also takes still photos. Was only around $100.00 and it's super sturdy.

How many pixels have those Nikonos 4 and 5 got? And what memory cards do they use? :)
