Anyone know if or how an announcement will be made concerning reservation ability for this route in December? We're now well within the 275 days out....

Anyone know if or how an announcement will be made concerning reservation ability for this route in December? We're now well within the 275 days out....

Well, looks more promising now at least- GenX received cert and JAL is scheduled to take delivery of their first two on Sunday finally (in time for BOS service).
Would really love to avoid going thru LA or SFO this Dec.

Well, looks more promising now at least- GenX received cert and JAL is scheduled to take delivery of their first two on Sunday finally (in time for BOS service).

But JAL still wasn't able to confirm the delivery schedule of more 787s yet they are still working with Boeing on that...so still no launch date of SAN yet

It would be so nice to plan my trip on a new JAL 787 from SAN to NRT/Beijing this Fall.
It looks like December maybe the first flights available in winter. :confused:

Unfortunately i don't think the route will be launched until Dec 2012

No first class out of san on jal, would be A good way to use up some AA miles

Even with F it's not an easy task to reserve it in advance

Had good luck with first out of LAX last year, this year CX worked out ok.
( and I prefer CX anyway)

I am giving up on flying the SAN-NRT inaugural flight and will book my Dec trip today before the YQ (and possibly the base fare) goes up on Fri. The current deal is just too good to pass :( And I have a feeling they will release the launch details right after I book my ticket :eek:
