Click Here (https://myrewardzone.bestbuy.com/offers/offersandpromotions/info/0900a76f8008dd88) to sign up for the Deal Of The Day email and get 100 bonus points for signing up.

I like to use these on points.com and transfer them to programs a rarely use like Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan to keep miles from expiring.

The sign-up page doesn't seem to go anywhere for me when pressing on a 'sign up' button. Tried for two different accounts.

Not sure. I signed up on the 15th and it was working fine. I've been getting the emails. Waiting for the points to post.

Have you tried a different browser? We've had multiple family members sign up with no problem. After clicking on "Sign Up Now" on the Offers and Promotions Page, each person was taken to a page that said "Don't Miss Out on Today's Deal, and asked for the Member # and email address. (Presumably this is where you're running into your problem.) After clicking on "Sign up" you should see a confirmation screen that says "E-mail address and Reward Zone Member Id accepted!" The daily mailings started soon after signup.

I logged into Reward Zone first then clicked the Sign Up Now link and it seems to have worked for me.

I think it does depend on the browser - clicking the sign up now link did nothing in Chrome but worked in Firefox.

I tried it in Firefox & got this message:

"Sorry, this page cannot be displayed.
Possible reasons:

The page or offer has expired.
You've reached a page that's reserved for specific members or membership level.

Things to try:

If you are visiting a Gamers Club offer, be sure you join the Gamers Club first.
Return to the home page."

I believe reason #1 on your list is correct--the offer expired on 3.20.12, IIRC.

Has anyone had their points post? Do we know when to expect the points to post. FYI, these points expire in early Feb of each year, so be sure to use points.com to convert these into another point/mile currency to the extent not used for reward certs before then. I had this nasty surprise a couple of years ago.

From my experience with past Best Buy promotions, they usually take a full 8 weeks to post.

When I called Best Buy last week to try to clear up some confusion about my account email address, they told me the bonus points would post in 35 days. On another promotion (the recycling one last fall), points took more than 30 days to post. I understood that they set up their system to not post points until after the end of their normal return period.

I'm guessing that counts as mileage earning activity for AA?

Yes it does. MileageAddict must live in an AA hub or something because you get almost twice as many if you redeem them for US. I'm waiting to see if anything comes out of the rumors of US buying AA, then I'll know where to transfer ;)

I applied them to my son's AA account. He rarely flies AA and is only a few thousand miles shy of a Europe coach award ticket.

If I don't have activity on my AA account by August, I lose my miles, so I'm thinking that might be a way to show some activity. :)

This will do it then. I plan on transferring a few of these to Alaska Airlines at the end of the year to keep that account active.
