In the recent monthly email from Privilege Club there was a link to vote in the Freddie Awards - hand on heart I found it impossible as much as I may have wanted to, to vote for QR's PC.
Mostly, as a Silver (elite??) member other than lounge access I don't feel special, only once on-board was offered a menu choice in Y class before general service. Never any operational upgrade. Trying to use my 50,000 miles for a Y to J upgrade is a joke, just once accepted but on a leg that was not my first choice.
I could, no, will go on......... QR is a 5* airline with its marketing image but that's almost an illusion in reality I say, most sets of crew are friendly, space on-board is good, wines excellent, IFE good, food highly acceptable except for those dire hot sandwiches, priority check-in a plus, priority boarding - I wish, as 9 times out of 10 it's chaos at HKT and LHR, OK QR are expanding routes rapidly, acquiring new hardware, but as I have said here before make your elite pax feel special and we will be your free marketing agents.
