Exclusive Members-only Sales Launch!
Strictly by registration before 18th March 2359 hrs
Final promo fares valid only for one-way tickets from Singapore to Sydney, Singapore to Gold Coast, Sydney to Singapore or Gold Coast to Singapore, inclusive of all taxes and surcharges.
Promo fares valid for a limited time only!

It started at $400 and has only dropped to $350. If you register with email or facebook you can help drop it even lower.....

It's a pretty good example of a decent campaign, getting the word out with zero ad budget. Already has 18,000 people registered.

I think any extra competition in the aussie market is a good thing. Really hope they start flying from and to MEL or Avalon soon.

31" pitch is tough for a 7 hour flight even at S$88!

Just booked SYD-SIN-SYD including baggage for ~204 AUD. Plenty of low fares available it seems.

I do agree that the AU market is underserved.
Too bad our government in CA won't allow QF in YVR.

Last Friday I bought Jetstar Friday madness sale fare MEL-SIN for $199 in May (I needed to get there before Scoot launches), a special Cebu Pacific fare for $45 each way to Cebu, and now I have my Scoot flight 16th of July for $83 (it was in SGD) from SIN-SYD. Then $60 back to Melbourne.

Return trip with stopovers in Cebu, Singapore (and KL), plus Sydney is pretty damn good for AU$433 :)

What do you mean? QF did fly to YVR at one point... but they stopped it cos they couldn't compete against AC's nonstop flight as their 747 flight had to go via SFO/LAX... and most refuse to go via the US to Australia so QF axed the route. Maybe when they get the 787's they might reconsider.

As Scoot has started selling tickets and introducing its fares, one can suppose that as of now, SQ KF members will NOT be able to earn miles on Scoot flights?

So when you check in just show your FFP card and also when you board flash it at them.

I also booked my SIN-SYD-SIN for September for $288 all-in.

The $88 one way all-in fare was for the "Fly only" ticket. Meaning no checked-luggage. So if you manage to travel with just one carry-on, it's a pretty cheap deal. Except that you get charged the credit card fees at the end...

As for FFP, I don't expect a LCC to yield any (unless Scoot creates its own FFP).
