Swiss International Airlines - Choice between LX Privatair and LX J

As the title says really,

I am taking a flight in a few weeks NYC-ZRH and currently the choice is between LX A333 in J or a LX operated by Privatair in a BBJ(ish).

Part of me wants to go in the A333 where I know the service and seat will be good but then again do I pass up on the chance to have a Privatair experience? Or is it something that's not really worth having?

My third and least favourite option is flying LH J to FRA but having experienced their seat in the past I don't think it can be compared to LX!

any thoughts/suggestions etc?

I haven't flown the BBJ personally, but based on reports here on FT, you would definitely not want to trade an LX A333 C seat for a Privatair BBJ c seat. A search for "privatair" in this forum reveals a lot of similar threads.

And as you have already mentioned yourself, LH C AND an additional connection in FRA is not really what you want to do either.

So, I'd recommend to take the LX operated flight. After 31MAR, all LX flights from JFK and EWR will be operated by LX metal only, no more Privatair BBJs.

Yes, A343

...and the new Business Class seats are the same on the A333 and A343, so no matter what LX ends up flying on the route, it will always be better than the Privatair BBJ.
