Hi everyone, I have noticed that there is a huge price difference when booking on an English online site a return flight from London to Sydney. But I can not book Sydney to London return using the same system. Is there a universal site that this is possible? The ones I have tried so far have sent me back to an Australian site and the price is high again.:td:

Air fares aren't a fixed price - London to Sydney my be cheaper because cheaper seats are available. It doesn't follow that the Sydney flights can't be more expensive due to demand

International air fares are not usually bidirectional. Yes. It is probably cheaper to fly Europe-SYD RT than SYD-Europe. Just blame market conditions for that.

Thanks to all who read and those who replied. Its getting worse as fuel in Australia has now gone up again so we cant really afford a leisurely drive anymore and of course flights going up too so really the only way to see the world is via Google Earth! lol

Yes we want to increase tourism and people spending in the shops yet we cant afford to get to the shops, so we buy online ;) what a wicked circle.
