Club Carlson - Status changes during the stay - elite bonus points?

I had a Gold status for 2011 and didn't qualify for 2012. As far as I understand, in Club Carlson program your status changes on March 1. So, on March 1 my status has changed to Silver. The problem was that I had a 7-night stay from 2/25-3/3. So, I've checked in as a Gold member and checked-out as a Silver member. I thought I should receive 50% bonus for first 4 nights (as a Gold member) and 25% bonus for the last 3 nights (as a Silver member). However, their smart computer system just gave me 25% bonus on all 7 nights. I've contacted customer service and they told me that I didn't quialify for Gold status for 2012 and my current status is Silver, so the number of points I got is correct. I don't think so, however they didn't reply anymore. Am I correct in this situation?

I think that cs is correct. the points will be credited on check out day. so if your status on chec out is silver all points are given on silver base (same situation you will found on some promo- always the check out day will count).
