Had a chance to use MyFordTouch 2.0 on the 2013 Taurus I rented last weekend. Much better than the first generation of MFT, although still not as fast as the Chrysler/Dodge UConnect system.

As one who almost exclusively uses GM, I'm curious as to how you think both these systems rate vs. OnStar?

Are you referring to the turn-by-turn directions that are available from OnStar? Sync has a similar feature if you choose not to get the Nav package. I must confess to not being familiar with OnStar. :)

However, GM has a new infotainment system available on most of its 2012 vehicles called Intelli-link, and it's pretty good. I think it's superseding or largely supplanting Onstar. The 2012 Lacrosses and GMC Terrains carry an 8" touchscreen with Intellilink as standard equipment, includes Pandora/Stitcher too.
