Hi there,

Do you know if it's possible to separate two passengers on the same booking? I want to upgrade from economy to business using points, but the call centre staff said that because two passengers are on this booking, we would both need to upgrade.

Does that sound right?

That does sound right, I don't think you can have one person in a Business class and another person in economy under the same reservation number.

They would be able to divide the booking (which would mean a new booking number for the other person), you should then be able to upgrade to business class.

Correct, you would need to split the PNR's.

Just call them and ask to split the PNR and they can do this (if controlled by an agency, your agent will need to do it) and they can then give you the new pnr's.

Then you can upgrade yourself.
