Club Carlson - End of Triple Points...now what?

Triple points ends this Friday. I have to admit it has been a great promo and I have enjoyed a good few weeks with CC properties. However, now that the promotion is about to dry up I am wondering whether my future stays are worthwhile, as there will be a sizeable decrease in points earned.
I don't suppose anyone has heard if a replacement promo is in the pipeline?
(This is a simple question. Please don't turn this thread into one of those quarterly Hilton 'Guess the Promo' threads)
If no other loyalty program is lighting your fire with their promotions, you could always go for status with CC. Points for redemption at CC is a good value if you don't throw in promotions.

75% point bonus and 3,000 point bonus for online reservations is quite lucrative. Go for status. As a "Concierge (G4)", you get the above.

Access to the 2-for-1 and 4-for-2 rates is more valuable than any other elite perk IMO. Well, with the exception of the RA free minibar...

its even better if you have access to both perks; however I haven't used the 2for1 4for2 since 2 years

benzemalyonnaise, can you help with link or links re the 2-for-1 and 4-for-2 promos? Or just some discussion? I have tried several searches without success. I'm assuming that they're dead, but just hope to get more of an idea of what Carlson is capable of. Thank you. :)

I would but 75 nights is a bit steep. I normally earn my elite status at other chains via high value stays (I work in London a lot).
I have earned 100k through this promotion so I can't complain. I now need to try and work out how to use these and the 2-4-1 (or 4-4-2) during my holiday in Australia next year.

Yeah, those promos are nice for the leisure traveller but nothing special for business travellers.
I use my points for leisure, my employer pays for my regular stay and they fortunately don't include a Friday night...
Bring back those points promos :D

Here is a blog post I wrote in January 2012 showing some rate analysis for Club Carlson 2-for-1 and 4-for 2 discount rates.

They have a 3-for-2 promo for their Asia hotels..if that helps.

No, it does not. Hard to imagine they are doing nothing for domestic business after being so aggressive for two quarters?

They are...should be announcing soon. Depending on what status you have, their online booking bonus by itself is pretty good. I get 3000 points just to make one reservation online. ^

No, they do not. They will have another promo, but whether it will be "second quarter" or some different span of time, that is an open quesiton. I'm not aware of Club Carlson always doing all promos by quarter, are you? AFAIK only Hilton HHonors does promos exactly by quarter (early Jan-late Mar, early Apr- late Jun, etc, etc).
Most hotel programs, including Club Carlson, take a break between promos, and don't announce the next promo just as soon as the last promo ends.

Lets hope so!
I actually had to stay at a Calson property without triple point and have two more stays in July. Oh, the audacity in not giving me more free points!
(As a side note, planing and burning these miles in NYC in Manhattan. What is the best Carlson property there? 50K/night just fine with me!)
