Europe - Driving from Milan to Les Duex Alpes??

Leaving tomorrow morning for a trip to Milan, heading over to Les Duex Alpes on Wednesday. Is this an easy drive? There will be two of us, which will help.

Did you rent a car? Is this a automatic or manual shift one? is it equipped with winter tires?

All in, there should be no problem unless it snows a lot.
