Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - TK Award Space for IST-YYZ

Hello all
I'm looking at TK for an award in C class at the end of June for IST- YYZ. None of Continental, Aeroplan or KVS are showing anything which is very weird.Not even in Y. Can someone please help? Thanks

There's no availability simple as that. TK has either very poor availability like discussed on a thread here or there's just so much demand from US customers who have miles coming from everywhere imaginable. Actually i was in YYZ filling my gas tank and the Indian employee at shell asked me if i have some kind of frequent flyer card for miles. That got me thinking.

I've got a few YYZ-IST business awards booked for this summer. Booked last year. The problem is as described above, and also the fact that TK is is one of the few remaining airlines that Aeroplan does not slap a fuel surcharge on. This creates extra demand from Canada.

Btw, shell in Canada does not award frequent flyer points, just useless Air Miles.

This is more than awkward and definitely not a coincidence.

I don't think the problem is caused by Aeroplane.

You will see the same lack of availability for ORD as well.

TK's award availability on their North America routes can be very spotty, especially during the summer when most flights go out full.

In my experience, they usually have plenty of award availability on their Asian routes though.

I have only been able to find at the most 2 Bus seats on TK out of YYZ. I guess that is all TK releases.
