Hawaii-based Airlines - Lots of Stories on HA Flights being Delay Recently?

My niece was scheduled to fly from LAS to HNL on Saturday March 3rd on HA 17. This flight was delayed for over 7 hours. On Sunday March 4th my daughters classmate was scheduled to leave from OGG to Sea on HA 30 which was delayed for more than 8 hours. Does anyone know whats the reasons for HA's recent incidents of delays. I am scheduled on HA to LAS in April and I hope their AIRBUS planes are dependable. I did not have any
problems before when they flew those 767's.

I had the unfortunate experience of flying through the storm cell a few times this week with some unpleasant chop. HA got my flights out on time (thankfully), but I did see other flights that were experiencing a few delays.

As for the Mainland flights, HA has had some mx issues with on-again-off-again mx issues with their 763s, and those lengthy delays are not unheard of at times.

There was a 763 out of service in PDX for 2 or 3 days earlier in the week, so HA was down one long haul aircraft.

i fly ha all the time one flight in jan. was delay do to wind my flight march 2 was delayed do to wind.
in the last 5 years may be delayed 3 or 4 times.
